ERUDICA
Erudica is a melodic death metal band originally from Porto Velho, Rondônia, Brazil, and currently based in Portugal. Formed in 2020, the band blends the aggression of death and thrash metal with strong melodic, technical and epic elements, driven by powerful riffs, intense drumming, and a dynamic combination of extreme and lyrical vocals.
Founded by vocalist Caroline Ferreira and guitarist Patrik Correa, Erudica has evolved into an international lineup featuring Caroline Ferreira (vocals), Patrik Correa (guitar), Dragos Iulian (bass), and Micael Sousa (drums).
The band’s lyrics explore themes of environmental destruction, social conflict, greed, systemic chaos, resistance, and the future of humanity, combining heavy music with a strong conceptual identity.
In 2026, Erudica expanded its European presence with a tour across Portugal, Finland, Hungary, Romania and Spain, performing in cities including Helsinki, Budapest, Timișoara, Bucharest, Lugo and Madrid. The tour marked the band’s first performance in Finland and further established Erudica’s presence within the European underground metal scene.
Following the release of previous material including the Masters of Chaos EP and the single “Resistance Unchained”, Erudica is now preparing the next chapter of its career with the release of “Burnt Imperium”, scheduled for late 2026.
With new material in development and a full-length album planned, Erudica is focused on expanding its European live activity and connecting with new audiences, festivals, promoters and venues across the continent.
